Question Micro Tuner and Codes

I have heard that the Super Chip leaves a code in the computer even after you pull it out to go to the dealer.
Does the Micro Tuner also leave a "tattle tale code" when you reload your stock program??

Just curious as I'm about to take the plunge.

I don't think it will be much of a problem, as I have just learned an old friend is the Customer Service manager at a Ford dealership

No, there is no code left behind when you remove the Superchips tuning.

Now anytime you clear the PCM (disconnect the battery, etc.) you *will* get a P1000 code for a while after that, but there are no "tell tale" codes left behind as a result of the Superchips tuning. Once that is removed, the PCM is running on it's original factory program.

If you'd like to go over this in more detail, feel free to give us a call, our phone number is listed below.
