Question for Mike Troyer

Hello Mike , I have a 95 F150 supercab with a 302 and auto trans. I was wondering if you there is an electric fan kit available for my year truck , looking for something that will be a straight forward bolt on mod. My Ford is used as a tow vehicle 6 months a year and it gets 100+ degrees around here in the summer months.

Thanks in advance ...Mike M.

Hi Mike,

I think so, but I would want to talk with you to get 2 measurements of your radiator to make sure. I say that simply because our kit will of course work, but there were a couple different radiators in the pre-1997 F-150's, so I'd want to check dimensions on yours before telling you absolutely that it will be a straight bolt-on deal.

Give us a call when you get a chance & I'll be happy to go over that with you & if I don't feel ours will be the best choice, I'll let you know that as well & point you in the right direction, no problem.

Mike Ive talked this over with you before, the biggest fans that can fir on the radiator in the pre 97s are the dual 14", since I lucked out and I dont haave to pay for my tranny to get fixed, I will probably order them soon.

Hey Beastie , I have pretty much the same truck as you!, Friday I'm having the gears swapped out from 3.31's to 3.73's. I'll keep you posted.

Keep on truckin' Mike M.

Beastie , I ordered the Ford racing 3.73's , diff. cover , gasket, and gear oil online for about $220.00 including shipping and handling. I put alot thought into this also, was debating on going with 4.10's but decided that would probably be to much gear.

I will give you the low down when I get back to work on wednesday, takin' a little vacation from work .

Keep on truckin' Mike M.

Hello Beastie,

You might want to go back and re-read my post. You'll see that it mentions the fact that there is more than just 1 radiator in the pre-1997 trucks, thus we want the measurements in each of them checked before we ship. Not every pre-1997 truck is going to have the exact same radiator dimensions that yours does, some will and some won't. We have to make sure that *every* vehicle owner gets the right parts regardless of which radiator they have, thus we want to check dimensions.

There are also a total of 3 different radiator dimensions in the 1997 & up F-150's as well by the way. Luckily for us, that does not change any aspect of our kit on *those* model years.
