If you want a custom chip in Florida then REM is the place to go. They sell diablo chips and can dyno-tune your truck.

BTW-If you set up a photo gallery and a profile you could put your picture in your sig.

Hi hslightn,

Give us a call at our number listed below when you get a chance & we'll be happy to go over this in detail with you, go over all your modifications, how you're using the vehicle, etc. We've been providing the tuning for these Lightnings longer than any other tuner in the country. My personal daily driver is a fully street legal state inspected & emissions compliant 11-second (on the motor & @ full weight) Lightning that is a rolling test bed for all our Lightning performance parts.

We can provide any custom tuning you may need for literally any type of modification, at any boost level, nitrous, valve bodys, bigger blowers, longtube headers, torque converters, etc., you name it & we can tune for it. We've supplied thousands of Lightning owners running everything from 13-second times to 10 second times with their tuning all across the country, we can easily take care of whatever you have going on there.

In fact, we're going to be down in your neck of the woods here very shortly, as we have scheduled our 2003 Lightning new model year R&D to start on Monday February 3rd. If you like, we can probably arrange to see you in person down there in Florida, and of course you don't have to wait that long to get the tuning you need, we can do that right away for you. Give us a call for all the details, etc.

Best of luck with your Lightning, & hope to speak with you!

Hi Vinnie,

That's very kind of you to say, thanks.

Haven't had a chance to "talk" with you much lately, and meanwhile that Lightning of yours gets stronger & stronger. Congratulations on getting into the 11's!

I don't spend near as much time in the Lightning section as I used to, so I missed whatever the background is on the picture in your signature line, with the giant huffer sticking out of the hood. I'm assuming that's a Photoshop deal? Way cool pic, whatever it is.

Have fun & good luck this season!

Hi 03LightninRocks,

You know, I thought about that right about the time I pressed the send button, and had you next on my list to call. We just got the dates finalized for the new model R&D being done on your 2003 Lightning, and by the time I'm posting this, we've already gone over the dates via phone. And as we discusssed, you'll get the complete list & all the logistics here on Monday & Tuesday.

Just for anyone else reading this & wondering what we're talking about, 03LightninRocks is bringing in his brand new 2003 Lightning all the way from Texas down to Florida, where we'll be meeting him & doing all the new model year 2003 Lightning tuning R&D. We'll be doing complete before & after, starting of with a bone-stock 2003 Lightning and taking it all the way thru each state of modification and tuning for all the different mods.
We'll be very carefully monitoring & tracking everything from the A/F's to the EGT's, etc., and we'll be doing track testing as well. I'll personally be flying down to supervise the sessions, installations, testing, etc.

This is another exciting project for us here at Performance Products, & a big thanks to 03LightninRocks for helping all of his fellow 2003 Lightning owners by making his vehicle available for the new model year 2003 Lightning tuning R&D!

Hey Mike, I have been hearing great things about you I hope you can help me? I have a Super chip flip chip and I want to get a reburn. I purchased it from a tuner who no longer deals with super chip. I was talking to a tuner who wanted 3 times what I heard a rebur cost. I asked him if I was being penalized for not going to him first. Hey just laughed!!! I live in Michigan and there aren't many known tuners. I was woundering what you would charge?

2000L computer code CUX-2
Super chip flip chip side 2 drag with 100 octane
JLP ram air tube with K&N tube filter
boost by pass
flowmaster 2in 2 out
in-line tranny booster but want to change to factory tech shift kit
I also am installing a 4lb pulley.
I also want to add a valve cover breather filter.

I bought my chip in 2000 and I hear you all have a great program so let me know if you can help please
Peace, Suavy jgonza94@ford.com

Hi Suavy,

Sure, we can help you with this.

One thing to remember in general is that there is no such thing as a set standard "reburn" fee, that is largely a myth of Internet message boards. There have been a couple of vendors who in the past listed something like a "reburn fee," but all that means usually is that they're just loading a different existing file in your chip, they're not really doing another custom tune from scratch. We can do that either way, and what it costs to have custom tuning done depends on just how much work needs to be done.

It's against the rules here at F-150 Online to discuss specific pricing for parts or services here on the message boards, so you'll need to contact us privately to go over that with you. Our contact info is listed below, give us a call & we'll be happy to go over this with you & get you the tuning you need. I'll be in and out this afternoon (of course our staff is here), but the rest of the week I should be here & pretty much available if you'd like to call so you & I can speak personally.

Talk to you soon,
