Mike, Are all Superchips created the same?
Mike, Are all Superchips created the same?
I bought my Superchip from Lemere Interprises and just wondered is it programed the same as if I would have bought it from you? I would have purchased mine from you but at the time I didn't know you were in buisness. I plan on purchasing pullys and a shift kit from you in the near future. Thanks for all the input you are a real asset to this site.
Hi Orlando,
Thanks, that's very kind of you to say.
The answer in your particular case is, maybe, maybe not. I have no idea what you have there, so I really can't answer that just yet. Many people who buy their Superchips from us get our special Performance Products Superchips programs in the Superchip module (not in the Micro Tuner, in the Micro Tuner they're all the same).
In general, all the *standard* Superchips performance programs are the same, but here at Performance we have many programs that will put more power to the rear wheels, as we've worked for years on specific features that only we have. Of course, some of what we've contributed to these programs has been made available to all other dealers, as we want everyone to have great programs, it's just that some of our special programs here at Performance nobody else has, and I have no idea what you have there at this point.
However, if you'd like to give us a call, I can go over this with you in more detail, and we can usually determine just what you have received from that particular source there in talking with you over the phone.
By the way, I don't know if I've mentioned this before at some point in the past perhaps, but your underhood looks very nice. Just so you'll know in case I haven't mentioned this before, we have a special throttle body cowling available that will close up those large gaps on the bottom of the V8 throttle body cowling that happens when any aftermarket intake kit is used. Just FYI.......
Give us a call & we'll try to get to the bottom of that for you!

Hi Harley 356,
Yes, we sure do have pics, and they'll be up on our web site, hopefully in the next couple of weeks. We've finally got all the info for the first 500 or so parts turned over to the company that is handling the e-commerce implementation, and they're working on the database part of that right now.
To get a picture now, just send us an email and we'll reply to it was a zipped up version attached so you can unzip it and take a look. Send us an email straight from your email software (don't do it from here on F-150 Online in other words), as sometimes those don't get our responses with file attachments correctly.
It's basically a plain black throttle body cowling, designed to be a much better fit on the bottom in front, where all the gaps open way up anytime you install any aftermarket intake kit. This cowling cures that problem, and you can paint it, put an emblem on it, etc., as you see fit.
