Talking Mike, Guess what I need???

I think I diffently have more torque! Just loaded the Superchips MicroTuner program (the standard one) and I'm very please with my inital "feel", but your going to have to start selling the new Gatorback belts (is that right) with the superchips! My belt is diffently squeeeeeeeling!

Question, with my next upgrades being the removal of the stock fan and replaced with the duel electric and going with the undersized pulley, will I need a different sized belt??? If so, then if it doesn't hurt anything, I'll wait and put the Gatorback on with the upgrades later!
Also, anyone, when I punch it from a start, do I need to be aware of the engine RPM prior to the trans-shift from 1-2? Meaning when I did this my RPMs was pushing 5500rpms (and I let off on it) and still hadn't shifted? What is top end/red line? Tach goes to 6k? Sorry being a little "green" behind the ears, but I don't want to "blow" the engine? It's been awhile since I've had this much fun with a vehicle! More later...

Hi Tim,

No, you don't have to worry about your WOT upshift point, just keep your foot in it and let it do it's thing when you accept the default tuning. Many times the factory tach reads high (and once in awhile, low), and in all cases, the Superchips tuning is not going to allow you to hurt the engine with more rpms, there's not a big increase in that, a few hundred rpm at most.

You are always protected by the rev limiter, which is still intact.

And no, you do not need a different size serpentine belt when you use our electric fans kit & the underdrive pulleys, too, you still use the stock length serpentine belt.

Have fun!
