Gosh, I forgot all about this post in the response I just made in another thread, shows you how much I miss and/or forget if I stay off for 24 hours!

Yes, these Lightnings, especially below about 90 mph, are about the fastest regular production non-"exotic" vehicles made, excepting the killer L-88's, etc. and the occasional lighter Hemi-car. But even the most exotic of the original muscle cars of the late-60's were a bit slower with few exceptions, sure didn't get the gas mileage or have the driveability & comfort of that swaggering SVT Lightning.
