Wink Ok Mike...I may be in trouble???

My wife says I'm acting like a little kid waiting for christmas to come. Is it here yet? Is it here yet? is my theme for the next "few days"! I really appreciate all the time you've taken to answer my questions thus far...you know there will be more! but, I'm happy to be getting the Superchip MicroTuner and MagnaFlow "Y" and exhauxt setup! Thanks!
I'll keep you informed as to how things go...but this "little kid" can't wait!
NEXT...electric fan setup; trans kit; and undersize pulleys around Mar/Apr then look at the Plasma Booster; all getting ready for that day that I can bolt the MAGNACHARGER on!
I appreciate having you on the POLING FAMILY race team!
THANKS MIKE!

P.S. For all reading this! Mike can "HOOK" you up on these Fords! I'll keep you informed of the MODs and pics to come.

Everytime I order something from him I am the same way. Then my mind starts racing about which mods I should do next. He is a REAL BAD INFLUENCE LOL now all I do is spend all my money on my truck, but that is okay with me, I love working on the truck, and seeing the faces on all the ricers after they see my tail lights, also the Chevy guys, but I have alot of throuble with those new ones after about 40mph, they come on strong.

Good luck with your mods, and never stop them from coming.

The only time you are really in trouble is when: A. you see red and blue lights in your rear view mirror. or B. when your wife tells you that you can now sleep in your truck because of problem A.

Hi Tim,

You think you're in trouble, heck, I've gotta find another 150+ HP over the winter to get our Lightning into deep the 10's without nitrous!!

It's already on it's way, have no fear, Santa's near......................

Have fun, & thanks for the honor of being on the Poling Family Race Team!

Beastie,
I thought the first phase of mods would satisfy my apetite for better performance. I can honestly say that it consumes me. I know how you guys feel. My mind is contantly thinking of the words necessary to convince my wife I need more. I feel like a kid and my colleagues at work make fun of me for acting like a high-schooler.

BUT IT IS ADDICTIVE!!

Me:
My name is Jay Waller,
and I'm addicted to mods.

Group: Hi Jay Waller

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!

Good one, Jay.

Actually, we have our own 12-step program, it won't get anyone off drugs or alcohol, however it *will* let them forget about their other problems, usually in short bursts, say, 1/4 mile at a time?

That is by far the funniest thing I have ever seen on the boards I really know what you mean, I am so addicted to the truck

Mike bolt on the KB blower, that will give you a nice increase, so I have heard.

Hi Beastie,

Actually, the KB blower for the Lightning has been problem plagued to the point that it's in redesign. Fortunately, there are better twin-screw blowers available that can support much higher power levels, and in at least 2 sizes larger than the KB. There's the 2300AX model (2.3 liters) of the Whipplecharger, which is capable of delivering 2768 cfm @ 20,000 rpm internally. And if that isn't enough, if you just have to have 1500+ horsepower, then that's easily handled with the King Kong-sized 3.3 liter version.

I was "so bad" about the can't wait to get something syndrome, that i mistyped my phone number on my order form. When Mike tried to call me, it said my number was disconnected..... quick indication of credit card fraud. Mike and company went way out of their way to ensure the order was valid, filled it, shipped so it got here today! Now I get to install it

Superchips Model 1715 MicroTuner. Installed the "standard" program today in about 5 minutes. But I've only got about 5 miles on it, so its hard to tell the changes yet.

did provide a "nice" puff of smoke on first start up, but after that no problems.

I need to update my signature.

Thanks Mike

It only gets better from here!

Hey, Y2kxltsport

When I first installed my tuner I was a little dissapointed on the power side of it. The tranny shifts were already greatly improved on the first test drive. However after about 250 miles the power seemed to get a little better. And then at about 450-550 miles the power greatly improved. I feel I got the actual 26 ponies and 40 pounds of torque I was supposed to get. How often does this happen on a mod? I am really impressed all the way around with the tuner. Keep driving rack those miles up and have fun.

On a side note, my truck is parked for a while, I have over a foot of snow here at home! Most snow I have ever seen around here. Oh well, it has to melt off some time.

Hi Y2kXLTSport,

I'm glad to hear UPS got it to you in time for Christmas, excellent!

You'll enjoy it, and it will take about 350-500 miles to get the full effects from it as you work the first couple of tanks of high-quality premium gas thru it.

Have fun!
