Question Anybody experience a sticky wheel after not driving for a while?

This evening i hopped in my truck to go to Carls Jr. with some friends and my wheel was all sticky! the door was locked and the windows were closed so nobody could have been messing with me . The truck was sitting for about 3 days prior to me taking it out. I just cant think of what could be making the wheel sticky when i dont drive it for a while. It has been raining for the last few days here, and this has happened before.

It feels like tar and its only on the back of steering wheel thats sticky.

I did a search to see what could be making my steering wheel sticky. I couldnt find anything related to having the truck sit for a few days. Any Suggestions ?

Was the vehicle being stored in a moist environment? It sounds like excess humidity to me but, I may be wrong.

Its most likly just some dirt and grim build up and needs a good cleaning. It's normal for it to get some dirt and grim on it but usally you don't feel it unless its a bit damp, like from raining out.
