Wax vs. Paint Sealant

What's the difference between a paint sealant and a good wax say like Klasse????, from what I have been reading they look like almost the same damn thing. Tks guys

The def. of wax and sealant depends on who is using them.

Paint shops call anything that seals the paint and prevents curing a Sealant.

Most detailers use the term "sealant" to refer to a synthetic wax such as Klasse.

They use the term wax for stuff that contains carnauba or similar.

Sealants, as in synthetic waxes, will last longer than a wax, as in a carnauba wax. Sealants will sometimes give a candycoated look, where as a Wax such as carnauba will give a deep, wet look.
