In my case, if I had spent the $1500 for the extended warranty it would have been a complete waste of money. I'm at 92,000 miles and have not had a thing go wrong the extended warranty would have covered. Extended warranties generally make huge profits for the companies that offer them. IMHO on average extended warranties are not a smart purchase.

It is a personal decision each of us has to make.
I didn't get it.
I can't say it's a bad bargain when someone else posts that they had their engine, transmission etc, etc... replaced for $50.

Bought 2 computers at Best Buy and both went kaput! Got new ones without any hassle. I have extended warranty on virtually everything I buy, except for socks, those carry lifetime warranty. Seem like everything I touch turns to dust. Kinda weird..
