da buffer
da buffer
Well, this post was originally for "hand wax or use a DeWalt DA buffer ", but since I can't delete it, oh well. What's up with the delete function anyway. Can others of you use it?
If you have the DA buffer, use it. Just be careful that you always hold it such that the pad is always parallel to the surface as much as possible.
I don't think that a DA buffer will cause swirling anymore than rubbing by hand will. Any swirls caused will be because the pad you're using is contaminated with dirt or whatever (same problem with hand waxing).
Lately, I use my Porter Cable (another kind of DA buffer) to do everything except the paint that's very close to the trim. For that, I just use a foam hand pad.
Cheers!
