Question Ran over some paint!

Thank goodness she was not driving my 02 HD. Well my gf was driving her black car and she ran over some paint that was on the roadway. As soon as she realized it was paint, she took it to the carwash and most of it is gone.

But the black plastic trimming on the rocker panel is all white and the paint will not come off. Tried bug and tar remover and won't come off.

I'm thinking using acetone, but will this turn the trim white?
Simple green?

If it won't come off, I'll just spray paint it black.

Any suggestions?

Don't use acetone.

Mineral Spirits should get it off. Put it on a rag and hold it on the paint, then carefully wipe it away. A small brush can be used to help dislodge the paint.
