True Blue Metallic - Bad?
Hi Everyone, this is my first post on F150 online - it's a great site!!
I don't own an F150 yet but am currently pricing out new '03s and I hope to have one soon.
My question is about the true blue metallic paint option, which is what I would like to order. One dealership has told me to stay away from that color as it is prone to chipping. Something about the color just does not stick well to the primer and flakes off easily.
I hadn't heard about this before - anyone out there have that color? What are your experiences?
Thanks for the input,
Matt

check out the YY paint coad.
its deep weadge wood blue(true blue with a tinted clear)
I have had it for 3 years and its nice stuff(almost bleck at night , purple in bright light and deep blue all other times)
I hated colours till I saw this one.
and I heve never seen another around yet.?
of course I don't live in the city.. they seem rare though.
