I wrote a while back about taking the side molding off of my truck. After I took it off I noticed that there was scaring on the paint. I screwed up the molding to bad to just put it back on so I just lived with it for a while. I went and got a few quotes on getting the door fixed (sanded and re-painted) they were all about $1400.00 . So I called ford to get prices on new molding. There prices weren't as bad as I thought. All four sections of molding (ext. cab) for only $103.00. Is this bad or not.

Oh yea, did you just heat them up and take fishing line hehind it to remove it?

 

I'd get the side molding from Ford. I think they look good. And they are a heck of alot cheaper than the quotes you got to get the door fixed.
