Unhappy AF-1 Problem

I installed the AF-1 on my 2001 F-150 5.4 about six monthes ago.
This past week end out of the blue, it starts makeing one hell of a roaring noise. This is a very loud roar. I took everything off and reinstalled, still has the roar.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appricated.
Tks, in advance.

Me too..

When I first start my truck I notice that it sounds really loud as well!! It seems as though it is trying to suck anything and everything in. As of right now it only happens when I start my truck. I also noticed that my filter is really dirty.. Maybe a good cleaning of the filter may correct this problem?? I have only had mine on for about 2 months now. It does kind of bother me... But it only seems to do it either when first starting my vehicle or when it is really cold outside. It goes away after warming up though so as for right now im not too worried. I am most defiantly going to clean it before winter though. Have you already done this? If so when do you notice the "raoring" the most?
I hope this helps.
Thanks.
