Intel or other experts...

You seem to know your stuff very well. Does this process/product sound good? If there is something I should change let me know please. Thanks in advance.

1) Wash with Meguiar's GC shampoo
2) Pinnacle paint cleansing lotion
3) Which polish to use?
4) Klasse SG... Do I really need the AIO first?

For exterior trim I'm using Mother's Back to Black. It seems to be good stuff.

For the wheels, tires, engine, and interior stuff I'm using lots of Eimann Fabrik products and 303

And oh yea, what gets rid of smells (especially cig smoke) short of an ozone machine?

Exclamation Intel is da man, but...........

i have a few suggestions....
First DO NOT USE THE MOTHERS BACK TO BLACK! That stuff will ruin your trim after a few monts use! turns it grey and then looks old and crappy, wanna use somethin that really works?? Go to your local marke and buy PEANUT BUTTER! YES PEANUT BUTTER!, the non-chunky kind, lol, just a little in a rag, the oil makes the black trim look great, only a tiny bit needed, its cheaper, lasts longer and wont fade your trim! i love it, read it here on the forums... as for the stink...i use Febreeze, but i do not soke and do NOT allow anyone near my truck who does...but i use Febreeze once in awhile to keep her smelling clean! kinda smeels lie fresh laundry, like mom used to do!

just my suggestions, hope u like 'em! ---medic

I've heard of using peanut butter before, but rubbing it on my truck seems kinda well.....like speading chrome polish on my sandwich. Know what I mean?

I'm the same way about the smoking thing, but I've been detailing other people's cars on the side for some extra cash lately. I've noticed a lot of people's cars smell like ashtrays and "other" kinds of smoke.

You don't want to try a clay bar in your detail? Really makes the paint feel buttery smooth.

Pinnacle Paint Cleansing lotion is an amazing product! I love it.

For a polish you can go with Meguiar's #9, ProWax's Swirl Eliminator, or 3m Swirl Mark Remover. I prefer Meguiar's #9 but the others will get the job done.

I like to use Klasse AIO before Klasse SG just to make sure I have the surface completely cleaned and oil free to get as much bondage as possible. I feel it is necessary but a lot of people go straight from Meguiar's #9 to Klasse SG. If you use 3m Swirl Mark Remover then you'll have to use Klasse AIO because it lays down a lot of oils that need to be stripped.

Yes, the mothers back to black isn't a very good product. You would be better off going to get some Forever black or getting some vinyl dye. Those products will actually dye your trim back to black instead of just sitting on the surface like Mother's Back to Black does.

For smells you'll need to get the entire enterior cleaned with either a extractor or a steam cleaner. Try to get it done with a steam cleaner if you can. It will help wash as much of the smell out of the seats, carpet, etc. I then use a product can Odornox made by prowax. It will pretty much get rid of most smells or atleast greatly reduce them.

Yea, I got the mother's clay and I use that whenever it needs it, but that's very rare. Is there somewhere to get just the clay without buying the whole kit? Seems like it would be a lot cheaper if I could get the clay by itself. Thanks for the suggestions, added meguiars #9, Klasse AIO and forever black to the list.
