Wheel Cleaning Between Washing
Wheel Cleaning Between Washing
What are you all using to spiff up your wheels inbetween washings?
I was leary to use much more than water due to the sensative nature of metal and chemicals.... any good products out there that will help remove the road dirt and brake dust that won't harm the wheels if it dries on the metal?
Would a product like 'Quick Detailer' or 'Final Inspection' from Meguires be suitable?
Also, please note, I have a King Ranch with the painted wheels. I need something that won't harm the painted portions.
Thanks guys and gals.

You'll have to use something like a quickdetailer. You can always put a sealant on your rims like Klasse SG. It will help prevent brake dust from sticking but then you won't be able to use a wheel cleaner as it'll strip the Klasse SG. You'll have to use some carsoap then and your quickdetailer inbetween.
Thanks Pup. I appreciate the info.
Anyone have any insight to simply waxxing the wheels with a product like Mequires Mirror Glaze or equavalent?
Thanks.
