Bug Guard

I just purchased a gallon of ProWax's Bug Guard. I'm gonna be driving to mississippi tomorrow so I'll be able to test it out. Infact I'm about to go out to wash my truck and get a coat of this stuff on it.

Instructions say to spray it on, let it dry, and there ya go. Will wash off with just water when your ready.

It is suppose to neutralize the acid in the bugs and make them easier to wash off. I may leave some of my truck without the stuff on it though because I also got some of their Bug Remover and would like to test that out too

Well, I'll be gone till monday and probably won't have internet access So until then, have fun detailing! I'll also have a review of the product when I get back.

(Yes, I'm bringing some of my detailing supplies with me. Maybe I can do a few cars while I'm there

Bug Guard is Awesome!!!!!!!!

The bugs just washed off without any extra work or chemicals.

I knew the bug guard was water soluable so I decided to hose the front of my truck down with water and then start washing the wheels. I was trying to give it time to disolve the bug guard.

Well after I washed the wheels I came back and hosed the front of the truck off again (Normal hose, no pressure washer) and 90% of the bugs just washed off! After washing my truck with car wash there were no more bugs!!! Very awesome products! Suggest you all get some for your next road trip!

Well, I also tried out some new soap. I think it is ProWax's C-60 Super Car Wash. Well it works awesome. Cleans nicely and produces a lot of suds. Only problem was the smell. The cherry suds is great because it smells like cherries. Well, this stuff smells like my dogs flea shampoo. I felt like I was washing a giant wet dog instead of my truck!

I'm gonna request the MSDS for the two soaps and try to find out if the difference between the two soaps is just the smell.

Thumbs up BUG GUARD

I work offshore and drive from B'ham AL. to Fourchon LA. every week and my truck sits in the hot sun and bakes the love bugs and others bugs on for a week. I have tryed everything. I have a Pontiac GP with 270,000 miles and the inside looks great but the bugs over the years have screwed up 3 paint jobs. I have a new f-150 now and don't want it to turn out the same way. I ordered a gallon of the bug guard and put it on before I left and will get off Thurday morning and drive back. I hope it will last 2 weeks and I get the same results as you did.

RE: BUG GUARD

BETTER KEEP SOME IN THE TRUCK TO USE BEFORE COMING HOME. THIS STUFF IS VERY THICK AND AFTER SHAKING IT UP AS DIRECTION SAY IT WAS HARD TO SPARY EVENLY ACROSS THE FRONT AND THE MIRRORS. I'AM GOING TO TRY AND USE A SMALL CAN THAT I CAN PRESSURE UP WITH MY AIR COMPRESSOR AND SEE IF THIS WORKS BETTER.
