sorry for double posting but........
ok i was reading some detailing tips on a website I heard of www.properautocare.com and they were talking about how show cars have like a dozen coats of show car glaze?????? 12 FRIGGIN COATS................. DAMN. I find this hard to believe. Wouldn't this do harm to the paint or harm it in any way. I'm sceptacle and if that word ain't spelled right..............oh well i can't spell
Show cars are a little different than the cars you and me drive. For one thing they aren't driven. Another is they have 10k paintjobs with super thick clearcoats.
Many layers of a glaze won't do damage to a paintjob. Glazes aren't removing paint but adding a layer of oil to the paint. It fills in swirls and increases depth and shine.
