my truck is not garage kept, it lives outside. so how often should i wax it to give it the best protection from the sun. i use mother california gold wax. 2000 f-150 4x4 lariat

 

It if it always outside and is a dark color then once a month. A light color your might be able to go a little longer.

I would get a better wax though. Something like Klasse or Zaino. They will protect your paint from the sun better.

thx for the sites laser red... are these products polishes? if so should i use a polish instead of wax? also are these products easy to apply and take off since i will be applying them and removing them by hand.sorry for the questions but im no expert on this matter.

 

Klasse AIO is a mild polish and I mean Mild! For a polish I would first use Meguiar's #9. If you can't find it, then 3m SMR will also work.

Zaino you should use a polish before hand like Meguiar's just to get rid of oxidation. Zaino will eventually fill in light swirl marks.

I'd go with Klasse though.
