Question cleaning vinyl trim

The previous owner of my truck had some (ugly) fog lights mounted on the front bumper. I removed them, but there are now rust marks on the vinyl trim that covers the top of the bumper where the mounting holes were drilled. These marks won't come off with soap, armour-all, or other vinyl cleaners. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Houndawg.
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried wd40 but it seems the rust stains are right into the vinyl, and won't come out. Any other ideas?

Zap!
or
Iron Out
or
CLR (Calcium, Lime, Rust)

All at Walmart.

These may dry the vinyl so add protectant afterwards, 303 or Armor-all if you already have it.

The top of the bumper is painted. Have you tried a regular polish or rubbing compound?

Thumbs up

Thanks for the advice guys! Found a product called "Rust Stain Remover" by "Star Brite" at a local marine supply shop. It worked well (worked in the boat too, but that's a different story...).
Indyfan- the truck is a '97 XL, so has a vinyl "cap" on the top of the front bumper, that is why it was a problem.
Anyway, thanks again.
