Angry This weather sucks!

Sunday I totally worked on the truck. Clay bar, Scratch X, #9 and 2 coats of Klasse AIO. I had to go to a family function so I didn't get to do the Klasse Sealer Glaze. Monday I went out to do the glaze. I hosed the truck off to get the pollen off and I no sooner got the truck dry, it started to rain! Yesterday, rain all day, Today I get home from work and the sun is shining so I decide that I'm going for it. Started washing the truck and the clouds blew in and it starts pouring. I finished washing it in a downpour. 10 minutes later the rain stops. I hose the truck off again to get the rain water off it and then I dry it. I go inside to get my polish, come back out and it's drizzling again! I'm never going to get this done. Man, I hate spring in Northeast Ohio! Sorry for the rant, I must now have a cold frothy beverage.

Would you rather have high humidity and extreme heat?

rtroha, you just ain't doin' it right.

I have the cold frothy beverages first then, I don't know it's raining.

(I think this is why my lawnmower is so rusty)

For a minute i thought you were gonna say you live in Indiana.

It's been raining here off and on for days now. Today was the first time in a week or so that i got to wash the truck, even though it's supposed to rain on Saturday. I could'nt take it anymore, i had to. lol

I know though, in a few weeks the rain will be far and few between, so i'll have plenty of days to shine her up with some zaino.

If you don't like the weather and you are in northeast Ohio, wait 5 minutes, it will change!

I actually prefer to wash my vehicles in the rain. You get all wet when you wash the car anyway, and the rainwater doesn't have minerals in it which cause spotting. I pull 'em into the garage to dry/wax.

Besides, it gives the neighbors something to talk about! "There's that nut who rides his motorcycles in the rain. NOW he's out there washing his truck in the rain! Gotta be something wrong with that boy, Martha."

keep 'em guessing!

I live in El Paso, Texas in the middle of the Chihuahuan Desert. We haven't even had a trace of rain in 96 days. Humidity 15-20% most days. This time without rain broke a record set in the 1950s but it isn't unusual to go 60 or 70 days without rain. We only get 8 inches a year and most of it is from thunderstorms in the summer.

I just finished washing and waxing my Screw early this morning because the sun gets pretty intense in the afternoon. It looks good but does anyone have a recommendation for a product to get the dried wax off of the black trim? Especially around the bumper, the bed cap, and the windows. Thanks.

Larry

Thumbs down This weather still sucks

Well, I did some more work on the truck Saturday morning and it's been raining ever since. This is really making it difficult for me to get my truck ready for the Lima Jamboree. It's supposed to rain here until Wednesday. At least that will give me a couple of days to clean it up before the weekend.

Thumbs down NOAH IS BUILDING AN ARC!

I'm down in Kentucky. It's been the same crap here. I think they're calling for a few days of clear weather this week... cross your fingers.

I'm pretty much convinced that Noah is building an arc somewhere VERY VERY close to where I'm sitting. I was wondering why I saw animals running around everywhere in pairs. Wild stuff... wild.

lscroggs, we've gotten 8 inches of rain just this month, and it's only half over.

Try some peanut butter on the trim with wax on it. It works!

Nice, guess whats coming. MY WEATHER

Though there looks like light at the end of the tunnel after the next couple days.
