Meguiars

Meguiars is good stuff. Just make sure you use the professional stuff, not the retail. The retail stuff is junk.

I personally use Meguiars #9 Swirl remover, followed by Meguiars #26 High tech yellow wax. It provides a fantastic shine.

I use the cleaner wax, #9 swirl mark remover and the #26 yellow wax. Works great. I love it!

I had used the Meguire's pro stuff before trying Zaino this past week. I will never go back, Zaino is a bit more, but WELL worth it. As far as I'm concerned, Zaino is second to non and I have NEVER had a better shine on my vehicle. I detailed high end cars for 4 year many years ago. I used the Meguire's and 3M systems, they come no where close to the results and durability of Zaino. The ONLY benefit they have is they don't need multiple coats. Zaino doesn't REQUIRE multiple coats, but the shine just gets better and better with each one.

Meguiars is absolutely the best stuff that I've ever used. PERIOD. (I should say I haven't tried Zaino--YET).

Personally, I'm using Meguiars Medallion Premium products. *not available at your local walmart like other meguiar products*. Keep in mind their top of the line products (professional grade) are their Medallion and MIRROR GLAZE products. The GOLD CLASS products are high end consumer products.

Very easy on... very easy off. The shine is GREAT. The protection is GREAT.

www.meguiars.com is a GREAT website. Of course, it promotes their products but, it also has several instructional videos talking about car and paint care that I've found very interesting and helpful.

Good luck in your quest on wax. I'm going to try Zaino soon. I'll post back with my results.

RP

I used Meguiars for the first time over the weekend. It does a good job, but seemed to be a little more difficult to remove than some other brands I've tried. Of course a Supercab is a big truck and takes a good deal of effort to clean up anyway.

Meguiar's makes some decent products. Of course i'm a ProWax man. Ohh and Valugard (autoint) can still S my C.

I love the Meguiar's Gold Class. Excellent wax! Only thing I'll use on high end automobiles.

Meguiar's #6 is an excellent cleaner wax. Takes off light oxidation and will remove light swirls. I apply it with an dual action buffer.

Meguiar's #26 is an okay wax. It seems to provide a decent shine and has great duribility. It is extremely difficult to remove though. I really hate that about it so I have stopped using it. I was using #26 on a metallic blue highlander and this past weekend I applied ProWax's Satin Creme. It looked 100x better. I'll be checking on the duribility but I think the Satin Creme might beat #26. I haven't compared the Satin Creme to Gold Class yet. I'll have to do that.

Meguiar's #34 is an excellent QuickDetaier. I use it for lubricant with a claybar and for taking off light dust. Worth buying in a gallon.
