Ever Heard of FLITZ?

I bought some from the Wisconsin State Fair last year. My body and I stripped all of the paint off of his bike and then polished the aluminum frame using FLITZ. It works awesome!

flitz is some great stuff, i use it on all my guns, even the blued ones. for getting deeper though, buy whenol (i'm probably misspelling it) you can pick it up at most any hot rod show and the stuff really works great, better than flitz on bare aluminum but then i wouldn't use whenol on my guns. if you buy the flitz you don't need to buy the big tube of it as the stuff lasts forever as you use such a small amount of it, just a pin head worth on a cloth diaper or polishing cloth. you'll be able to find flitz at better gun, rod and reel stores. it comes in a silver box with blue letters. like i said, buy the small tube unless your starting a polishing shop.

You are already removing these to do the polishing, so don't be afraid to use an electric buffer/polisher for a very high sheen. Then take them to a paint shop to be clearcoated.

yhea, you can use my rotary. I'll have to get the special pads for polishing metal though. I don't have any. We should be able to get it to original shine though with it.

that sounds good are you sure we want pads that polish metal, might be too abrasive will they scratch it or will they do just fine
