Removing Decals From the Paint...

Does anyone know of a trick to remove decals from the paint? I want the dealership sticker GONE! I should've had them do it when I purchased my KR but, I forgot to work it into the deal. I've heard that using a hair dryer to melt the glue on the stickers is an option. Anyone tried this? Anyone know of a better method?

I really want this stinkin' thing off. Any insight/past experience is greatly appreciated.

THANKS!

I had the same problem when I bought my truck. Three ugly dealer stickers, one on each side & one on the tailgate. I just ripped off the stickers & then used WD-40 to get rid of the glue. It's a solvent and takes the glue right off. It also takes off any wax that was there so be sure to reapply some wax to the affected area...

Sounds like a plan.... has anyone ever tried a hair dryer to 'melt' the glue to make it more simplistic to peel off? Seems like a logical way to approach it...just not sure though...

THANKS GUYS!

RockPick,

Hair dryer works fine . . . don't really have to melt the glue, just heat it up.
