Have any of you ever replaced the spring on your wiper arm. I have replaced my blades and still have a spot in the center of the sweep that the blade barely touches. I have been told to replace the spring. Is this a big deal? Is the spring a dealer item?

Just bend the wiper arm away from the windshield a fraction of inch or so. Results in increased spring tension --just like a new spring
