Question Oil Drip

While under my new 01 4x4 (5.4) wrasslin' to get the factory installed filter off I noticed that Ford had a better idea - almost.
Looks like they designed a plastic channel for the oil to follow when you remove the filter. Worked great, caught all the oil, didn't spill a drop. But ...
Of course there's some oil left in the channel. I cleaned as best I could with a rag but still got a couple drops on the concrete. Wound up stuffing the rag up in there and leaving it.
Seems crude eh?
Any other ideas, thoughts? Or just park it in the street til it stops? Thanks gang, love these forums.

Try spraying some Simple Green or other degreaser in there, wait a few then rinse away and that should do it.
