It's been raining for the past three days straight here. Truck if filthy as anything. What with the cold weather now here and raining/snowing, who knows when it will get washed again. Oh well, it's a truck. I guess it doesn't look too bad dirty.

Well, good news is I fianlly got mine washed. Bad news is that some of my stupid paint is peeling off the front bumper cover. Just a small strip about the size of an eraser head and about 3 inches long. I like a clean truck but every time I wash, I find a new scratch or something like today and it pisses me off. Next spring if I can afford it I want to put in a new grill shell and crowl induction hood and then have the whole front clip painted and a small dent at the rear on the passenger side fixed. Estimate witout parts is around 1000. So if I start now I might make it. Right now I'm so mad I just want to get rid of this POS and get a new one.

I prefer not to wash mine. When I wash it, you can see all the scratches I've gotten from brush when four wheeling. I prefer to keep a nice coating of Mud. Nobody can accuse me of abusing my truck and keeping it on the street

Managed to wash my truck two weeks ago during a warm spell when it was about -5c/26F and it's still sparkling. That's becuase everything is frozen, and there is no salt used on our roads - this morning it's -21c/-1F

my truck has only gone threw a car wash a hand full of times in the 1 1/2 years ive had it. so cold weather and washing by hand sucks, but atlest its only in the 50's-60's in the afternoon with the sun out.

Unhappy

The last time I saw my truck, it was starting to get those black marks under the ext. cab windows. I wish I was at home so I could clay bar, wax it, and shampoo the interior I haven't seen it in almost two weeks now, sniff sniff.
I get to see it again next Fri, hope it still has the stereo in it,,,,98

Hey dsugg,
Yep, as you can see I've been here quite awhile longer than at the other site, lol! It rained every day for two weeks before I left for Syracuse, NY.
I'm pretty sure it looks pretty bad after sitting for two weeks more out in the weather, yick! At least we don't get much snow,,,,98

The airport parking lot was pretty deserted for the weekend before Christmas, must have something to do with all the stuff lately? I also have some Bushwhacker street flares, so all told there is only about a foot or so of body left unprotected I do have a few door dings from all the inconsiderate people out there, and there's not much you can do about that. Well, if they're still parked next to me, they get one of their very own. LOL!,,,,,,,98
