I used to be a distributor for that stuff. It's a multi=level marketing deal. DON'T GET SUCKED IN. It's a good product that I now only use when all else fails, or "between washes" when my truck is clean and I want to remove, say, bird crap, or a little puddle spray or something. It works by floating the dirt in suspension until you wipe it away. Just be sure you use TWO clean terry rags when you apply it. Spray the stuff on (shake well and often first -- there's a lot of ingredients in that bottle), wipe in small, light circles. Let dry to a haze. Buff off with a clean terry or diaper. It's expensive, but lasts a long time. A little goes a long way. Thank your neighbor, but look at him with pity. He's probably spent a lot of money to buy into the scheme. Don't listen to the Pie-in-the-Sky. Only a very few make money as distributors. The rest just get suckered for a long time. I know. Just call me Tootsie Pop.
sundog7,
I don't plan on buying any at this point. It sounded expensive and I suspected there was a catch. Water and soap will suspend the dirt and it is a lot cheaper. Thanks for the heads up Tootsie!

I might add that it's a miracle product for a vehicle that has a faded finish. I remember we were trying to impress a prospective sucker --- i mean "Buyer" -- who happened to have an old Mercedes with a totally dull finish. Part of the "pitch" is that the DW&G "only works as hard as it needs to to bring out the shine". Sure enough, we did half the guy's hood with the product. It was shiny and clear. It looked like we re-painted and buffed!!. I couldn't believe the difference and was as amazed as the Benz owner. He bought two bottles on the spot. Remember there's nothing WRONG with the product -- It works well and leaves a durable protective barrier that lasts a surprisingly long time. If your neighbor values your friendship, he'll sell you the stuff and leave the MLM presentation out of it.

Stay away from this product. I used this on my Jetta years ago, and the finish on the car was never the same. Sure, it looks good when you apply it, but within a few days, the dirt is back. Plus, if you get ANY of it on black trim, you will NEVER get it off.
As for buying this stuff, my friends' dad sold it, and it is a total scam. Whenever I ran into him, he was pushing this product, doing "demos" at family get togethers and parties. It is just a scam.
Just my input.
