Angry Why? Why? Why?

Alright guys/gals. Im sure yall have heard this one before. I ride the bus to work and have to park my baby in a parking lot with hundreds of other peolpe that dont give a rats butt about there cars/trucks. So I'm washing her this weekend and come across a nice spot where it seems that some wonderful person decided to rub there bumper or vehical down my bed. So now I have a blotch of butt juice(looks to be some sort of rubber) on the side of my bed. My question is can I just get some compond and rub it out or am I going to have to take it to a detail shop? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

You can try some clearcoat safe polish/scratch remover first. If this doesn't remove it, you at least have an idea of how deep it is for professional buffing. WD-40 will also remove alot of stuff "on" the paint. If you use this, you should wash it off thoroughly afterwards and rewax. Good Luck !!

WD-40

less than 2 weeks after I got my truck, someone decided to open their front and back door into my passenger side door and bed. Thankfully it was an extramely light scratch and a lot of paint. I used WD-40 and it took all the paint off. Now I'm the only that can notice that any damage was ever done.

when I used the WD-40 I ddn't wash it really good until the next day and it didn't do anything to the paint. I basically just rinsed the area right after I used the wd 40

The first thing I would try is a good cleaner wax, Mothers cleaner paste wax works well. Rub it on with your finger and work it around the area. If that doesn't work try wd 40 or some of the other ideas posted here.
