Truck Drying Question
I bought an Absorber. Actually 2 of them. Ya'll were right. It's the best thing I've used. I just once-over the entire trunk with the absorber and then use a white cotton towel to touch-up any remaining spots and it works great. A lot better than using 4 towels every washing.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but the absorber is also the best I've used. To me it works twice as well as a natural chamois. I found out about the absorber ten years ago, and have never used anything else since

i use the waterblade in one hand, and the absorber in the other. the waterblade will get the water off of all the flat surfaces, hood, roof, sides, and tailgate in a hurry. the absorber will help with the areas around the fender flares, emblems, things like that. in 120* arizona heat i have found that the absorber by itself is too slow, and the waterblade will leave some streaks around areas with contour. but with their forces combined, no job is too hard.
I use the absorber also, it picks up most of the water and saves a lot of time. After I dry the truck with that, I'll grab a cotton towel and go over the spots that have some left over drops. Works great, got it for $10 at Auto Zone.
