Which wax?

Is there a wax out there know to have some properties to repell dust. AZ is too dusty a state for a black vehicle. Thanks in advance.

I'd agree, Zaino & a California Duster

I went out this morning and used a California duster on my truck. Then followed up with the Z-6 spray.

Total time: 5 minutes and no effort. Did it all in dress clothes for work.

Great stuff. Repels dust very well.

I have polished it with the Z-2 and Z-5 from Zaino Brothers.

I recently moved to the west Texas/New Mexico border, and the dust and water spots are killing me. The dust covers the front end before I can finish washing the tailgait. The California duster lives up to its marketing like few products can, and is well worth the money. Some day, a garage is in order.

Welcome to the world of the BLACK vehicle.
I have a Black 99 Supercab and keeping it nice is a chore.
The guys above are right about the Zaino wax and tha CA duster.
Does a good job.

I also saw this infomercial about a new product called Durashine. I think I may try that to lose the water spots that are left after washing.

California Car Duster

Ya'll be carefull with the Caifornia Car Duster with black paint. Make sure the duster is very clean! Keep it in the bag and make sure nothing gets in the fibers. If stuff gets in their it will scratch your paint! With other colors its not noticable but with black everything shows up.

i've been using meguiars cleaner wax and their gold formula.. i alternate... i'm happy with their products, but i wax every month so that probably helps.. been tempted to try zaino- just have been reluctant to write the check for all the stuff they recommend..

Mequiars cleaner wax works well for me, every few months. Between waxing I use Mequiars detail spray, have never seen scratches, even on our black Solara, and not on the Expedition, which is spruce green. Occasionally I use the California duster, but with lots of caution. I have seen some surface scratches appear on the black car, but not the Expedition.

Hello everyone. What is the web-site for Zanio Brothers. I found it a year ago, but I can't find it anymore. Thank you
Dan

Thumbs up

i also use the ca duster. its great for dusting. as far as water spots go,i have a plastic barrell under my deck that i collect rain water in. after a good washing i put the rain water in a flower watering can and go over the truck. no spots no drying. real easy. my truck is also black,no problems.
