I just purchased a 2001 std cab F-150 XL 4x2 V-6 5sp. I noticed that it appears there is great potential for door and side wall dings. It appears the XLT models come with body side color matched molding. Specifically the supercab models have a stripe on the door edge and another behind it on the supercab area.

Anyone added these to a plain std cab? Do they attach with double sided tape or what?

Any information provided would be appreciated.
