Okay guys my black 06 f150 paint is begging to show its age theirs eraser size to penny size spots popping up on my hood and roof it looks like the clear coat is peeling off. I Experimented and did some waxing on it(turtle wax black box) and it coveted it up or filled it in which ever it does and you can't really even see them anymore so my question is if i keep wax on it will it stop the problem or just cover it while it gets worse

 

if the clear is pealing you are covering up an issue that wont get better until it's re-cleared.

 

The first thing I have to tell some customers is that I can heal the sick, but I can't raise the dead. Unfortunately, your clear coat is dead. I'm surprised that anything even covered that kind of problem up. Trust me though, it won't last very long.
