Griots polisher vs. old 7424?

I have a first gen 7424 (non-xp). I've never gotten great results with it, just decent, and i was wondering how much better the griots polisher is and if i could expect better results from a more powerful tool. With the weaker 7424, I'm able to pretty much stop rotation if I press too hard; something I feel the griots wouldn't do. Products used in the past were lc blue and orange pads and megs 105/205.

I was in the same situation as you. Bought the new Griots 2 yrs ago; the change was a real game-changer! Griots has so much more "nuts" and makes work easier and faster. Gave the PC to my son. Get the Griots and ditch the PC.
