Tail pipe soot

Some are saying the ecoboost engine creates soot on the tail pipe, is there a way to effectively clean the soot off the Crome tail pipe? I will be picking up my truck next week so I would like to start correctly.

If it's chrome, any chrome polish works fine. If it's stainless steel, Diamond Brite truck box polish from Lowe's works well.

A little chrome polish worked great on the tips of my SHO.

To get the diesel soot off the chrome bumper of my truck my method is the following.

Pretreat that part of the bumper with APC.
Wash with Meg's Gold Class soap diluted correctly and my Wheel Mitt.
Hit it with my favorite chrome polish.

This method really works well removing diesel soot so it should work equally well for a gasser.

It will just come back in a day or two, no use getting too perfectionist with it though.
