care of foam weatherstripping

My Durango has foam weatherstripping on the doors. How can I clean and protect it? The only reason I ask is because the Durango is getting sold/traded in on a 2011 FX4.

Thanks!

Give the 1Z Einszett Rubber Care Stick a try.

Foam and not rubber? I'm thinking it's rubber.

If rubber, almost anything would be good. For over the counter products, 303's Aerospace Protectant, Megs Supreme Shine or Natural Shine, Megs M40 if you can find it locally.

To clean it, if very dirty use water and a rag.

It's probably rubber but it tears very easily and has tons of holes in it like foam.

I've taken a can of silicon spray, sprayed it into a microfiber and wiped all of the striping with this. It's fairly resilient and covers well.
