Cleaning Crome rims

I just bought new Moto metal 959 Crome rims I have had them on my truck for about 4 months now. I do not even drive this truck much but we had a lot of snow this winter and it seems as if I got some salt on the rims and now I noticed some pitting. I also tried to clean the rims and I could not get off a lot off the yellowish rusty looking dirt in the offsets of the rims or spokes whatever you want to call them. I scrubed and tried using simple green with a good brissle brush and still cannot get my chrome rims clean. If you guys have any good tecniques or chemicals to use I would greatly appreciate it.

i use autosol metal polish, comes in a small tube and it is like a paste, use a buff ball if you dont have any patience lol for the small cracks use a clean dry cloth. im sure any kind of metal polish would work, i recommend the paste or spray or anything else
