Post wet sanding and buffing

I recently had some body work and paint work done to my truck from an accident where I was rear ended. The new parts and new paint look great, but there is one thing that has been bugging me. On my new paint there is no orange peal on it, where as on the factory paint the orange peal is still very noticeable(especialy now with the new paint). I have been asking around about getting the rest of the orange peal in my paint wet sanded and buffed out but I keep getting two diffrent answers. The first answer is that there will be no problem doing that. The second answer is that the Ford paint and clear coat is too thin to wet sand, and to remove the orange peal the entire truck will haft to be repainted.

I was just wondering if anyone has had their truck wet sanded and buffed already? and if you have did you run into any problems getting it done?

Don't do it. The factory puts on the minimum clearcoat required to protect the finish.
