Question Spilled coffee- smell?

Ladyfriend spilled a half cup of coffee all over my 60/40 bench and onto the console while we were prepping for a day of snowboarding. Happened a week ago.

Any good ways to get rid of the smell? The entire thing smells like coffee/sour milk. We cleaned up it as best we could with napkins and then just left it (it's been -10 or so lately and I have no garage access).

Now that it's finally warmed up (~25 degrees) I want to clean the smell out. I was thinking one of those small household steamers and then vacuum, followed by some carpet shampoo?

Any input/advice appreciated, truck is cherry during the summer and this is the first big spill I've had in it.

If you have a small steamer such as a Little Green Machine, that will do an excellent job. Use Folex for the shampoo, which you can buy at Lowe's. If there is any lingering odor after getting everything cleaned up, Odo-Ban from Walmart does a real good job of killing it.

I second the Odo-Ban... used it in my truck after my wife tossed cookies after too much celebration after a Bulldog football game.. took me 2 weeks, but all the stank came off.

x2 on the Folex...I use it in my home and in my truck....that stuff works awesome.

Something I thought of but am not sure about.....there's an odorless product sold in pet stores called Nature's Miracle. It kills the smell of urine like no tomorrow. Might be worth a try as a last resort.
