Got egged
Last night I got egged while driving down the street. The cops I saw right after it happened, didn't even care. I washed it this morning and saw there was damage. The paint is scratched off down to the metal at the point of impact and you can see scrapes from the shell. It also looks like the paint cracked just behind the point of impact. Does anyone have any suggestions to make it less noticeable? (Other than repainting the fender.) THanks.

Sounds like the cops were just as jealous of your truck as the goons that egged it were. If the paint is gone the only way to fix it is to have it repainted. You'll never be satisfied with a touch-up job. Sorry about the incident.
