Scuffs from corn stalks ??

Scuffs on the rockers from driving through the field. They disappear when their wet so my guess is that it won't take a whole lot to remove.

We have a D/A out at the shop, the truck is thawing out in there overnight. It needs a good bath and I would love to get it all polished uf before I park it for the winter otherwise I will do it in the spring.

Will the bottle of 3M compound work?
Can I just buff out the scuffs or do I need to do the whole truck?

I wouldn't use 3M. For something that can be bought anywhere, I'd use Meguiars Ultimate Compound on the rough areas and something less aggressive on the rest of the truck before waxing it - maybe some SwirlX.

No, only the areas that have the defects. Also, are you sure it's a DA and not a rotary?

It's _really_ difficult to guess at what should be done without seeing photos. One mans light scratch is another mans paint job.

If you are going to wax it, you should buff the whole truck with *something*.......

And if you have a DA, it will go easy.
