fyi on wipers
Hello All,
I've owned '97,'99 and '01 F150s and it seems that the wipers get shorter with each truck. What's next.....they give us a squeegee and we wipe it ourselves! Personally, I like to see when it rains. For me, the 22" blades have worked well, but 24" sounds even better! Off to the store.......

I purchase metal 22s and they work perfect. I wonder why ford doesn't put 22's on the trucks to begin with?

Stupid question but I replaced my wipers on the passenger side wiper. Now the outer edge of the blade will not touch the window. What did I do wrong

You did nothing wrong.
Don't do anything about it, it is ok!
Beleive me, I live in Montréal, Canada and I bought the kind of wiper who whent around the corner of the windshield and I change them right after the first big freeze.
The wiper froze solid with that curve in it and it didn't wipe anything like that. Going over the windshield with only the extremity of it touching.
I bought back rigid one that stick out and have a good wipe now.
Hope it help you, and save you some money.
