Angry spots on rims

After washing truck, rims seem to have water spots on them which looks like oxidation. What can be done to prevent this? Help me out fellas. Have 98 4x4 with stock rims.

use pure ammonia to clean the wheels.

then wash it off again with water..

dry it with a rag.

put on brake dust barrier.

will leave a clearcoat looking finish on the wheels.

I had a lot of success with Mothers clearcoat wheel polish. Nice stuff, makes the wheels shine! It also takes off brake dust. I also dry my wheels right after I wash the truck, cuts down on the spots,too.,,,,,,98 good luck!
