i was wondering what u all think would be the best wax to put on my chrome wheels to help protect them this winter. i know it would be best to but the factory wheels back on but i hate the tires on them. and i don't have the extra money to buy new tires for them just for winter.

 

Wax on chrome wheels is going to come off fast. Anything you want to keep off of the chrome is going to go through wax pretty quickly.

My recommendation is to use a good synthetic wax, such as NXT. Also, after it snows and they de-ice the roads, wash off the wheels and reapply.

I've read of some people applying wax during the winter and not removing it.
