detail pics

Detailed this past weekend. I spent so much time polishing my wheels that I didn't have time to polish my paint, although I could use it.

Process:
- Wash with Meg's Gold Class
- Clay with white bar and QD
- 1 coat of NXT
- Polished wheels with Optimum Metal Polish
- Dressed tires with NXT tire
- Meg's Supreme shine on all exterior plastic and tonneau (actually that was done after the pics were taken )
- Meg's Quick Interior Detailer on the inside
- Meg's Gold Class leather conditioner on seats
- windows cleaned with Invisible Glass
- shampoo on mats

I wanted to make time for a coat of 205 and 1 extra coat of NXT on the paint, but it didn't happen this round. Maybe next time. These pics really don't do it justice but I thought I would share

P.S. no before pics, sorry.

Aftermarket, looks like bushwacker pocket style flares.

They attach the same way the factory flares do.

Very nice work!

That Meguiars NXT make those paint colors pop. How did you like the application and removal compared to what you used in the past?

Also those wheels look brand new.
Good job.

Next time make sure you do some close up Shameless Reflection shots for the crowd.

Actually, I did take some shameless shots....took all the pics with my Dad's camera. The one's I posted were the only ones he sent me. He obviously doesn't know the value of the shameless reflecto's For your question regarding NXT, I love the stuff and don't mind application and removal. It's all I've used for years now. Just can't wait to apply with my DA next time. Still can't believe I forgot it Old Dogg!!!!!

Just as NCSU said, they are Bushwacker Pocket Style fender flared...painted to match. The attach on the underside of the flare...no drilling required. I didn't like them at first b/c I bought them purely to protect my paint, as I put slightly larger tires on w/ really low backspacing. Once I installed the flares, it made my tires look a little small, but it's grown on me now. I love the look, and I like that it's a little different, being that I don't have 37" tires and 6" lift.

They are Ford factory running boards.

Thanks man...I remember you encouraging me in the beginning when I was going back and forth on tire size. You definitely were one of the influential ones. I'm glad I went with what I have now though.

Good job. Sharp looking truck, I like the two tone. Very rare to see an extended cab short bed.

I knew it was something different about the truck along with the colors when I saw it...the flares & body style combo make it look thick and muscular.
