Angry Cleanin Mud

I went muddin saturday and wanted to know the easiest way to get the mud off. I mean there is a lot of mud. I went to the car wash today and cleanin the outside of the truck was the easy part, cleanin under the truck killed me. I spent like $13 bucks all on tryin to spray off the mud and there is still plenty underneath. How do you clean the entire truck easier? I want all ideas. When i ran out of money there was a 1" mud pit in the car wash so i sprayed it down into the drain and then the drain started to overflow so i left!https://www.f150online.com/forums/im...milies/lol.gif

I've heard of people placing a lawn sprinkler underneath, and letting it soak for a while. Mud will fall off when it gets heavy enough.

as far as getting the mud off the bottom of the truck there isnt really anything you can do but spray the hell out of it. Next time though grab some cheap tire shine or a big bottle of armorall and spray it all over the bottom of the truck and when you go muddin the mud wont stick underneath the truck. Learned that little trick in highschool and it works very good

I never thought about that oily armorall...I used some of their tire stuff and all it did was make dust stick to my tires.

But the sprinkler does work to an extent, depends on the water volume and pressure. I usually just use a water hose to rinse off the outside and in the fender wells then head to the laser wash that is owned by the most expensive gas station.

Man up, put on some safety glasses and crawl under there with a hose.

I use one of those tractor type sprinklers. I point the nozzles up and run it from bumper to bumper. It does a pretty good job since you don't have to move it around. But the best thing I've done is to buy my own pressure washer. Pays for itself in no time.
