Post Now that the Engine is washed?!

finally got the chance to wash my engine the other day. I'll admit I was a little nervous, but I did it. I used the Simple Green and it worked great. My question is: now how do I shine up all the aluminum parts that are discolored, like the alternator and such, that makes the compartment look worse. Thanks for the ideas.

Question

Gino,
Did you rinse the Simple Green off? How did it turn out? Mine's getting a little dusty, thanks in advance.

Thumbs up

Steve,
It came out good, all the dust and light grease washed off I could have done a better job in some of the crevices, but it's too cold here, thats a summertime job..
