Meguires Hyper Wash Question

Sorry in advance if this has been asked, I couldnt find it anywhere...
So my tires are all orange and nasty from dirt/brake dust. I am wondering if this stuff is strong enough to get rid of the nasty look. I have tried Eagle Ones tire cleaner sure it works a little bit, got all excited when I saw the nasty orange just running off my tires but it was still kinda there. At $7.00 or so a bottle it can get expensive I was thinking using a bottle per tire lol.. So has anyone tried the Hyper Wash on the tires? Is it safe? Thanks!!

Some people here are going to shudder, but try Westley's Bleche White and a scrub brush. Just be aware that it's caustic and try not to let it sit on the wheels for long.

Sorry, no experience in the Hyper Wash.

You might want to try the P21S gel cleaner. The gel stays on the tire longer for better cleaning.

I only used this stuff once on my previous '97 F150 that I didn't properly wash the tires until about 3 years ago. It is expensive, but I tried a handful of other products (eagle one, basic APC - nothing overly caustic or harmful). P21S is PH balanced so is safe for your wheels (though I would still be careful on polished aluminum).

Meg's APC (All Purpose Cleaner) dilluted to the correct ratio with a good stiff brush followed up by Hyperdressing.

The brown color (blooming) doesn't always completely clean off of certain tires for some reason, just to add. However, once a tire dressing is applied it disappears. The Eagle One stuff will get it just about as good as it is going to. It is an acidic type cleaner. It's just something to think about before you drive yourself nuts trying to buy everything you can to try and get it completely off.

Yupp that is the one that I use. I use it both in the truck and on the exterior in a little bit stronger dillution as a cleaner/degreaser for exterior use. I have different bottles depending on where I use it so I dont accidently use the wrong one.

Your welcome. You can order it directly or see in someone in your area stocks Meguiars products. My local NAPA has this in stock so I buy it from them. One other thing make sure it stays off your paint.

Meguiar's APC+ is only available through select suppliers. I doubt you'll find it locally. Get it through either ADS or Obsessive Detail.

EDIT: NVM. I got the product number wrong. Carry on.
