Slick Mist is actually a really nice quick detailer, it goes on easy and you don't get any streaking with it, also has a nice bubble gun scent to it.

It claims it has UV protection also, doesn't it? Is it easy to use?

it works pretty good from what I have seen. My friends use it on their mustangs once they get to the track after driving there and really shines them up.

Just an update. I tried the Slick Mist and I really like it. It's extremely easy to use but it doesn't bead water very long. But, I can wax an entire vehicle in a couple minutes. With four vehicles to maintain an everyone schedules being hectic, this is a real plus for me. I can wash a vehicle and wax it in a couple more minutes. So far, the only negative I've observed is that it doesn't last very long, but most spray waxes don't.

Used as intended, it's a good product. It's not designed to be a primary wax, it's designed to be used as a QD after a wash to "touch up" the existing "real" wax job. I use Megs Ultimate QD or Ultimate Spray Wax for that purpose, same concept.

I've been using it for about 3 years now. I do the wifes MKX, and it seems to hold up well, until she washes the car with Dawn dish soap. I don't look for water beading, but how the water comes off. Could it be called "sheen? (sp). In that form, it seems to work well for me.

^^^That's what I'd do, buy her a jug of carwash soap............but she would let it dry up in the bottle before she EVER used it!

I use the Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer too. Works good.
